I’ve been a partner at McKinsey, partner at Booz, president of a BU at Siemens, COO of Brightstar ($5B+), and chairman and CEO at Personal Communication Devices ($1B+). I co-founded BoomCloud 360, a software platform. In 2009, I dedicated my professional life to building businesses that I am passionate about. They include the Sherwood Forest Faire (Austin’s Renaissance festival), the Sherwood Forest Summer Camp, Thorin’s Viking Mead, Eternal Arms (historical armor shop) and Castle Rentals LLC. Instead of sitting in the boardroom, I now bring a day of joy to over 150,000 people.

Even though I'm often found swinging swords at my friends in a 12th century English village (outside of Austin no less!), I keep one foot in the present-day real world. I’m a by-the-book numbers guy. I build businesses based on facts and logic.
